Serendib Flour Mills (Pvt) Limited, a flour milling company based in Sri Lanka is a joint venture strengthened by the combined business acumen, financial stability and individual expertise of two reputed companies – “Al Ghurair Foods” and “Emirates Trading Agency”. Whilst Al Ghurair Foods is owned by the Al Ghurair family that has nearly 30 years of experience in the hygienically state-of-the-art processing facilities itself in the gulf region, Emirates Trading Agency is known as the largest volume shipping transporter of grains in the gulf region, is a part of Al Ghurair Group of Companies, who are the most revered and leading business house in the United Arab Emirates “ Seven Star ” Bakers Flour : Bakers flour has high quality gluten and is very versatile, making it suitable for baking a wide variety of breads, buns, and other products. The flour is white in colour having high water absorption with good dough strength, which allows the baker to maximize the number of bread loafs per kilogram of flour thus maximizing his profit. “ Seven Star ” Rotti Flour: This flour is specially milled for eateries using best quality wheat. The extensibility of the dough is high, making it ideal to make Godhamba rotti, Parata Naan and other eatery products. “ Seven Star ” Biscuit Flour: The crispy delicious taste of Biscuits could be produced with special variety of high quality wheat. “ Atta Flour ” : This flour contains a high amount of protein and it is a whole wheat flour most commonly used for making Chapathi, Puri, Naan and even Rotti etc “ Noodle flour ” : Noodles flour has rich nutritious properties which we personalise and cater to each individual client with their own specifications/requirements for the end-product manufacturing process. “ Wheat Bran ”: Wheat Bran is mainly used for making animal feed which makes it easy to digest and absorb. In the modern, quick paced life styles time is a great concern and we produce wheat flour high in nutrients obtained by milling wheat and due to its convenience in food preparation, flour is the first choice of the health conscious modern people.
