It is no secret that pancakes are a beloved delicacy in any house. Celebrate this father’s month with the perfect breakfast for your family. This teasing Pancake recipe is made by using ‘7 Star’ flour and other basic ingredients, can be relished by everyone. This is the ideal opportunity to spoil your father who works tirelessly to keep you happy, before he leaves to office!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup 7 Star all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or 1/2 teaspoon honey or molasses)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt

 

Recipe

Beat the egg until it’s fluffy. Then add milk and melted margarine. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Heat a heavy griddle or frying pan which is greased with a little butter on a paper towel. You can tell the pan is hot enough when a drop of water breaks into several smaller balls which ‘dance’ around the pan.

Pour a small amount of batter (approx. 1/4 cup) into pan and tip to spread out or spread with spoon. When bubbles appear on surface and begin to break, turn over and cook the other side. Serve with your favorite toppings.

Best served hot with a blob of butter and Honey.
