Pita Bread

  • 500g – Seven Star Bakers Flour
  • 500g – Seven Star Atta Flour
  • 20g – Sugar
  • 15g – Salt
  • 15g – Yeast
  • 30g – Oil
  • 600g – Water

In a large bowl, mix Seven Star Bakers Flour, Seven Star Atta Flour, Sugar, Salt, Yeast, Oil and Water together. Mix until all the flour is moistened. Knead the dough in the bowl until it comes together.

Cover the dough and allow it to rest for 10 minutes. (This rest will make the dough less sticky and easier to work with.)

Cut the dough into evenly size pieces. Cover, and let them rest for another 30 minutes.

Each piece which rolled into a ball then flatten into a disk. Cover the dough and allow it to rest for 15 minutes at room temperature.

Bake the in 200 0C for 15 minutes.
