7 Star මනුසත්කාර

True to the spirit of our Mission of Nourishing the Nation, we at Serendib Flour mills embarked  on 7 Star මනුසත්කාර , a CSR program to provide Wheat flour to low income families. With the onset of the Covid 19 the economic conditions have worsened and Serendib Flour Mills came together to provide the much needed relief to these deserving families. With the assistance of the respective Grama Seveka low income families numbering over 1,500 that needed relief were identified.

On the 18^th December a Santa parade, probably the largest such parade in SL set out early morning from the Corporate head office of Serendib Flour Mills reaching out the North Western region. The parades  first stop was in Wennappuwa and set out distributing the 7 Star Wheat Flour to the identified families. From there until  the night time the parade went from  Naththandiya, Ashokapura ,Mahawewa, Panangoda, Dankotuwa, Kahatawila, Chillaw and Marawila reaching out to more than 1,500 low income families distributing flour.
